Help Direct provides a support and information service for the people of Lancashire and aims to be your first port of call to get the practical support, guidance and / or information you need to get the most out of life by working with a large number of organisations and community groups to provide and develop this support.
Help Direct offer different levels of support to individuals to access the support they need including signposting, making referrals and up to eight sessions of 1-1 outreach support.
They also offer specialist outreach support around issues such as housing and families, accessing/dealing with health and social care services, mental and emotional distress and being a carer.
Among its services, Help Direct offer:
* Fylde Food Co-op - a food co-operative that provides fresh produce free of charge to citizens of Fylde who are isolated or have a low income
* The U-Night Group – a social inclusion project for people with learning disabilities across Fylde and Wyre
* Assisted Shopping Service – different levels of support to do your shopping, regularly or as a one off
